SPC Ashley Sietsema

SPC Ashley Sietsema age 20 of DeKalb, IL, and formerly of River Grove, IL, died on Monday November 12, 2007 in Kuwait City, Kuwait. She was born on September 14, 1987 in Chicago, IL; she was the daughter of Olivia Alvarez.
Ashley was married to Max W. Sietsema on April 27, 2007 in River Grove, IL. Ashley was Medic in the National Guard since July of 2005, serving in Kuwait. She was known for helping people in need, she enjoyed teaching Bible Classes, and helping anyway in community service projects. Ashley graduated from East Leyden High School in Franklin Park, IL, the class of 2005, and she attended Northern Illinois University for one semester.
Survivors include: husband: Max of River Grove, mother: Olivia (Alberto) Segura of DeKalb, maternal grandmother: Florina Rebolledo, brother: Kyle Segura of DeKalb, aunts: Florina Alvarez and Nadia Alvarez. Preceded in death by: maternal grandfather: Jose Luis Alvarez.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday November 18, 2007 at 12 Noon in the Ronan-Moore-Finch Funeral Home with Pastor Dwight Bailey of Austin Boulevard Christian Church in Oak Park, IL, officiating. Burial with Full Military Honors will be in Fairview Park Cemetery DeKalb. Visitation will be held on Sunday November 18, 2007 at 10:00AM till the time of the service in the funeral home.
