I just wanted to let all of know how sorry I was to hear the news about Ethel's passing. I had just seen her in June at Red Royalty's visitation and we had a nice visit. She explained all about her fall this winter. I thought her spirits seemed high and was really surprised when I heard the sad news. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Sherry

"ET" as she preferred to be called at the Montessori School of DeKalb will always be remembered as a beloved teacher and friend. She adored children and was always there for them with a ready smile and helping hand. She lived life to its fullest and was great fun. She will be greatly missed. ET was such a wonderful person! My children would often refer to her as " Grandma ET" and still talk about her almost everytime they see an airplane. We are so blessed to have had her in our lives and my boys learned a great deal from her. I learned that no matter how bad things seem always look at the positive in the situation. I was sad to see her leave from Montessori and even more sad to hear of this news but I am happy to say that I knew her and blessed that my kids will always have "Grandma ET". We Love You Dearly! Aunt Ethel will be missed. I can remember when I was a little boy that me and my mom and dad and cousin Kathy took a trip to dekalb to see her and it was awsome. Growing up all I could think about was one day moving to Dekalb and playing football for NIU but that day never came. She was full of energy and excitement up until her passing. Aunt Ethel we love you and we hope to see you one day again in heaven.
