DeKalb, IL - Stella Nehring 87, of Hinckley died Sunday January 30, 2011 at home. She was born September 27, 1923 to Charles and Anna (Kachinsky) Sipavich in DeKalb.



Stella married Ronald E. Nehring June 6, 1943 in Chicago, IL and he preceded her in death on August 24, 2010. Stella grew up in DeKalb and when she married Ronald they moved to the farm in Hinckley. Stella was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Hinkley and was also a member of the Woman’s Guild at her church.



She is survived by her children; Joan Anderson of DeKalb; Chelon Nehring of Chicago; Dan (Jane) Nehring of Massachusetts; Alan (Lavon) Nehring of Sycamore; and Ron I. Nehring of Hinckley. 3 grandchildren Aaron (Tia) Anderson, Ryan Anderson and Andrew Nehring and one great-grandchild Aiden Anderson. A brother-in-law Wayne Nehring; and sister-in-law Anna Sipavich both of DeKalb. She is predeceased by her parents, husband Ronald, step-father Anton Bartaszaic, brothers Edward, Zane, William, sister Alberta Kern and a daughter Susan Diane Nehring.



Funeral Service will be held Saturday February 5, 2011 at 1:00pm with Pastor Kris Delmore officiating in the Ronan-Moore-Finch Funeral Home 310 Oak St. DeKalb, IL with burial immediately following the service at Fairview Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday February 5, 2011 from 11:00am until the time of service at the funeral home.
