I am a friend of Lois Gresholdt and I was very sad to hear of Megan's passing. I did not know Megan but in reading about her it seems that this beautiful being had touched so many lives here on Earth and that others in the future will benefit from what she had accomplished. Some lives are so short here on Earth and we don't understand why they are taken from us so early but I feel deep down in my heart that her life was meaningful and that so many others are better off just because she was here. When I think of angels, I will think of Megan from now on.

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death." May God give you faith to see the key words in this familiar verse..."through" and "shadow." Death was a shadow for Megan and for us since Jesus took the substance of death upon Himself on the cross. Shadows are difficult for us because of the uncertainty. I can't imagine how difficult this is for you, but I also can't imagine the love of Christ from which you will not be separated. So, by grace, God brought Megan "through" this "shadow" to a literal resurrection with Christ on the day we celebrate the resurrection which makes our eternal life sure. He will continue to unite us with Christ in his resurrection each day as newness of life is put on us. May this newness include comfort for you today...and the next day...and the next...

Holly, Gary, Mark, and Peter and all of Megan's family and friends. Please accept my condolences on the passing of Megan. Megan was such a beautiful person with a smile that could warm the coldest of days. You should all be so proud of the accomplishments that Megan made in such a short time. It's not easy to understand why such a good person is taken from us so early but we must trust that God knows why. So many people were touched by Megan over the years and will always remember her for that. The loss of a family member let alone a child is never easy but hopefully your faith in God along with the love of family and friends will help ease the pain and loss along with the many memories you have of Megan. God be with you.

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" "Yes Lord," she told Him, "I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world." John 11:25-27 Your family and friends at Good Shepherd in Lincoln give thanks to God for Megan's victory over death and the grave through the crucified and risen Christ. May God use your tears to hep you see Him more clearly. You remain in our prayers. May your comfort be in Jesus. Asleep in Jesus; blessed sleep! Pastor Poppe

Peter, I never had the opportunity to meet you in person, but I was blessed to work with the Men's Choir at Good Shepherd in Lincoln. Though my skill is far less than your's, the men asked I help lead while I was able. All the members spoke extremely high of you and Megan. They shared how wonderful it was to know you both. The members of Good Shepherd truly treasured both of you! I pray God will comfort you and the families with the Good News of our Risen Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. Your strength, commitment and admiration of your wife are an example for all to follow. I surely will keep you, your family and Megan's family in my prayers. Your Heavenly Father whispered to Megan, "It is well, my good and faithful servant." Blessings, my brother.

To Megans parents and husband - I was one of the many nurses whom cared for Megan at KCH. She was loved by each and everyone of us, as were you all. She will be missed by those who hardly knew her, so I cannot imagine your pain. Please know that I have been praying for Megan and you all for the past few months, from the day I met her. I am sorry she had to suffer so, but am grateful to know where she is and the peace that is now upon her. You are all in my prayers.. I am so very sorry for your loss!
