I was saddened to learn of Evie's passing. She was a wonderful person and am so happy she was a part of my father's life. I will always be grateful to her for all the wonderful times they had together, especially fishing and suntanning on my dad's boat. Whether they were trapping numerous raccoons in the backyard or swatting swarms of flies chasing them on the boat, their life was comical and sometimes even an adventure together. Dad's life was complete with her in it. They were all about fun but they also shared an extraordiary faith in God, especially through some of the darkest of hours. I witnessed great times between the two of them but witnessed a wonderful mother and grandmother too. She will surely be missed and my heart goes out to all those who were lucky enough to have her in their life. Thank you Evie for all the fun times we had as a family and I will always remember your contageous laugh. You enjoyed life. God Bless you and keep you. My heart goes out to her entire family. Dear Schwartz-Zabkar family, With deepest sympathies on the passing of Evie. The loss of a mother and sister is significant and my heart goes out to you. Evie always expressed the immense love and pride of her family. My dad and Evie were lucky enough to find love and joy with each other later in life. I will always remember their giggle type laughs recollecting their experiences together. Evie had a great sense of humor, gave the warmest hugs, and her smile just lit up the room. May your loving memories of her give you strength going forward. Sincerely, Mary Beth Elster

So sorry to hear about your mom. I have such fond memories playing at your house when we were little. Your parents were so friendly and comforting, so much like my own parents I felt right at home. Your mom had such a beautiful smile and sense of humor. She loved life! I remember our camping trips together- we had a lot of fun! Terri my thoughts and prayers are with you and your brothers and sisters during this difficult time. God Bless, Katie

I wanted to take a moment to exted my sympathy for your loss. Even though I did not know Evelyn personally, I know how hard it is to lose someone you love. May you find comfort in knowing God cares about the pain we feel. Psalms 56:8 says that He collects all our tears and preserves them in his bottle and records everyone in his book. He will provide you with the strength you need to deal with each day. May you find peace and hope knowing soon he will wipe away all the tears from our eyes and death will be no more. (Revelation 21:4)
