DeKalb, IL - John (Jack) F. Dorneden beloved son, brother, father and grandfather died unexpectedly at home November 18, 2009. He was born in DeKalb October 3, 1935.

He served 22 years in the Air Force, retired and continued working in the engineering field for Ratheon and The Albuquerque Seismic Labs and accomplished traveling to every country in the world. He was an avid race car driver and pool player. He received 2 degrees.

He is survived by his son Christopher and daughter-in-law Rebecca of Colorado, daughter Camille of Maine, brother: Michael and Fiancé Diana of Sycamore, Karla Dorneden, daughter-in-law Margaret of Albuquerque, NM and Aunt Mary Hayes of DeKalb. Grandchildren: Matthew, Shelby, Ashley, Sydney, Meghan and Brendan, and, many cousins, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father and mother John and Nona, sister: Julie, son John III, and grandson Robert.
