Jean was such a dear friend. We played golf and bridge together for years here in Kankakee, Il. She put up such a valiant effort during her long illness and will always be remembered for her cheeriness and her love of good jokes which she told so well. We have been missing her since she moved to DeKalb and we will continue to miss her. I send my condolences to you members of her family. You were all so precious to her. Sincerely, Lois

I want to express my sympathy to Jean's family. And Thank You for the phone call, Carol. I played bridge every Thursday for several years with Jean. Several of those years we played golf, had lunch then played bridge. Also had a lot of good times in Arizona in the winter months with Jean and Harlan. Have missed visiting with Jean after she moved to DeKalb. You, her family were very dear to her. Always enjoyed seeing those running pictures of her family when she was at Miller. Ruby Nagle

I was suprised to see ths death notice. Please accept our regrets. I can remember many family get to gethers at Uncle Oden and Aunt Arlene's house. During that time I remember you little girls running around. It is sad to see the "old" generation passing. We will all miss them. Dave and Lynn Jordal

It was with deep sorrow to hear about Jean's passing. Our fondest memmories are of Jean's latest story that she heard at playing golf or bridge. Jean and Harlan would be cutting candy at church getting ready for the annual bazaar. Foremost in their lives was helping others, even after Jean had Parkinson's. Our prayers are with the family.
